Do Not Sit On The Furniture ease us out of the weirdest year we've ever known with more soul soothing, hypnotic sounds. Courtesy of VieL.
Another new member to Behrouz's ever-expanding roster family; the young Greek artist signs off one of his most prolific years to date with this fittingly titled three-track odyssey 'Almighty Soul'.
VieL's biggest release to date, each of the three tracks shine with dreamy, subtle cosmic charm. The title track opens with a dubby warmth and gentle cascading harmonics that gradually morph and mutate around a heaven-sent choral vocal texture. 'Fading Star' follows with a touch of melancholy. Hopeful but primed with poignancy, there's a classic progressive timelessness that taps into the great Global Underground legacy; unhurried, dreamy, cinematic.
Finally we have 'Iron Heart'. A deal-sealer with more dubby magic on that bass/kick combo, once again the focus is on the meditative groove while the pads and atmospherics gently morph and mutate to create their own universe. A universe where the only furniture necessary is a dancefloor.
